Fujifilm launches PressMax pressroom chemistry
Environmentally-friendly range of pressroom chemistry for improved press performance
Fujifilm today announces the introduction of PressMax, a comprehensive range of environmentally-friendly pressroom chemistry and press care products designed to improve press performance and efficiency, reduce costs and improve print quality.Graham Leeson, marketing manager at Fujifilm, comments: "The new PressMax range includes founts, washes and auxiliary products that help prolong press life and reduce environmental impact, all of which are key issues facing printers today. The PressMax range has evolved from Fujifilm's long experience in the pressroom market, backed by global research and development."
PressMax founts are available for heatset, sheet-fed and mini-web presses, in both reduced and alcohol-free versions. They support a variety of dampening systems and work with conventional, UV/hybrid or metal inks.
PressMax washes feature corrosion protection additives to maximise press life and productivity, while offering higher cleaning efficiency. They are compatible with conventional, UV and hybrid inks and are suitable for use in both manual and automatic cleaning devices. Fast-drying and low odour variants are also available.
PressMax auxiliaries also include a comprehensive list of day-to-day and maintenance items, encompassing plate care, fount auxiliaries and cleaning products.
Graham Leeson adds: "From plate care and founts to coating and cleaning, the use of PressMax products as part of a regular maintenance regime can improve pressroom efficiency, profitability and print quality."
All products within the PressMax range are available now and will be showcased at this year's Komori workshop, 9th - 11th October in Leeds.
